Description

The Regal Cinema was opened by Associated British Cinemas in 1938. It was designed by ABC's architect, William Riddell Glen, with an art deco exterior featuring cream faience tiles. The cinema closed after a final screening of 'That's Entertainment' on 14th July 1984, the date this photograph was taken, and the building was demolished.
