Description

The Ritz Cinema opened in 1938 and was designed by architect William T. Benslyn. The cinema closed in 1968, after which it became the Ritz Bingo hall. This was operational until 1981, when the hall was demolished. In 2020, the site is occupied by an Iceland supermarket.
