Description

The Drake Cinema opened in 1958 and was taken over by Odeon Cinemas in 1961. The auditorium was divided into three screens in 1975: this photograph shows the original screen in the former stalls; two additional screens were created in the former circle. The cinema closed in 1999 and the building was later demolished.
