Description

The North Bay Cinema first opened in 1918 but closed in 1926. The building was reopened as a cinema in the 1980s, as a home for the Wurlitzer organ which had been removed from the ABC Cinema (formerly the Ritz Cinema), Ipswich. In turn, it was removed from Scarborough in 2008. The organ also had a grand piano.
