Description

The Rialto Cinema, a replacement of an earlier building destroyed by fire, opened in 1935. The auditorium featured a wide proscenium opening and stage. The building closed as a cinema in 1961 and became a bingo hall. It closed in 2002 and was subsequently demolished.
