Description

The Rex Cinema opened in 1940. Seating in the circle was added in 1954. The cinema was later known as the ABC before operators reverted to its original name as the Rex in 1978. It was converted into a bingo hall after closure as a cinema in 1980. The building was demolished in 2014.
