Description

This slide was originally stored in a case labelled 'Bristol'. Although the cinema shown is not certain, it is likely the Showcase Cinema, Avonmeads. The cinema opened in 1994 with 14 screens. The same projection room is shown in NWC01/01/1574-1576 and NWC01/01/1578, with some equipment being labelled '3' and '7', possibly screen numbers. The Showcase Cinema is the only cinema of which there are photographs in this storage case and which has at least 7 screens, and therefore seems to be the most likely location. If so, it was probably taken at the same time as the exterior shot NWC01/01/1573.
