Description

This slide was originally stored in a case labelled 'Bristol'. Although the cinema shown is not certain, it is likely the Orpheus Cinema, Henleaze. The cinema has three screens and one projection box; the projector for Screen 1 operates using a periscope and mirrors, the setup of which is probably shown in this photograph. The same projection room is shown in NWC01/01/1581. If this is the Orpheus Cinema, the photographs were probably taken at the same time as the exterior shot NWC01/01/1579.
