Description

Although not confirmed, this photograph probably shows part of a foyer in the Regal Cinema. The Regal opened in 1931. The building originally had two entrances: Dormer Place and Portland Place. These entrances were removed after the 1960s and a new entrance - the foyer of which is probably shown in this photograph - was opened on Augusta Place. The cinema was expanded in 1996 and 2000.
