Description

The Warner Theatre opened in 1938. The building was designed by E A Stone and T R Somerford, with large relief panels sculpted by Bainbridge Copnall on the corners of the main facade. The auditorium was demolished in the early 1990s and nine new auditoriums, designed by HGP Greentree Allchurch & Evans, were built behind the original 1930s facade.
