Description

The Regal Cinema opened in 1955. It was built on the site of the former Woolwich Hippodrome Theatre, which was demolished in 1939. Construction was halted during the Second World War and was resumed in the early 1950s. The cinema was renamed the ABC Cinema in 1963 and closed in 1982. The building became a nightclub known as Fusion and later N-tyce. It was demolished in 2015/2016 and the site was redeveloped.
