Description

The Paramount Theatre opened in 1931 and was renamed the Odeon Cinema in 1940. It was built to the designs of Frank T Verity and Samuel Beverley, and was Listed at Grade II in 1999. The cinema was removed from the List shortly before it closed in 2002; the building was demolished in 2016-2017.
