Description

The Adelphi Cinema opened in 1937. By 1961 it was operating as a cinema and bingo hall. The cinema closed in 1963 and the building was converted wholly into a bingo hall, which closed in 1996. The building was later demolished. This photograph was probably taken during a Cinema Theatre Association visit to the former cinema.
