Description

The Plaza Theatre, or Plaza Cinema, opened in 1930. Part of the building was used for bingo in the mid-20th century, but it later reverted to operating wholly as a cinema. The cinema closed in 1973 and once again became a bingo hall, which ran until 1997. The building was demolished in 2001. This photograph is a copy; the original photographer is not known.
