Description

The National Film Archive became the National Film and Television Archive in 1992. The organisation became the BFI National Archive in 2006. The conservation centre at Berkhamsted opened in 1987. It is officially known as the J Paul Getty Jr Conservation Centre after its sponsor, John Paul Getty.
