Description

The Picture Palace opened in 1913. In 1949 it was converted into a dance hall and in 1961 became a bingo club. In the mid 1990s the building was closed and converted into an Islamic cultural centre. It reopened in 1998 and is considered an example of a virtually unaltered early picture house.
