Description

The Parsonage was replaced by a terrace of shops in the late 1870s. Fairfax House dated back to circa 1600. It was demolished in 1886, its site now occupied by the junction of Putney High Street and Montserrat Road. The painting is dated 1947 but is described as being created "from contemporary records".
