Attached to the back of the photograph is an extract entitled "Space Age Schooling Comes To Britain" with a description of the construction of the temporary classroom, which is made up of 35 tetrahedral panels. It was the first fully structural plastic building in Britain, being made from prototype glassfibre-reinforced plastic.
