Description

The monument to Sir Thomas Playters (1638), situated in the north sanctuary of the church, is by Edward Marshall, master mason to King Charles II. The three kneeling figures are Sir Thomas (shown frontal), and his two wives (in profile); below these are shown their twenty-two children.
