Description

The Junior Carlton Club was formed in response to long waiting lists for the Carlton Club. Founded in 1864, it was intended for the promotion of Conservative interests. The Junior Carlton Club was amalgamated with the Carlton Club in 1977 to form one Carlton Club, with the clubhouse at St James' Street.
