Description

All Saints Church, Ledsham, has Saxon origins. The tower doorway, shown, was subject to restoration in 1871, but it is thought to be a representation of the previous doorway. The round-headed archway is decorated with vine scrolls, with three rosettes at the head. The print has a monogram and date in the bottom left hand corner, identifying the photographer as George Fowler Jones. There is also a stamp on the reverse, with the monogram and the words 'spectemur agendo'.
