Description

There is a later three storey wing of the hotel adjoining to the west, which subsequently became the main range and was built circa 1860-1870. This photograph has therefore been dated to before the new range was built, as it refers to the low, older range as the hotel itself. The hotel was subsequently known as the King Charles Hotel.
