Description

This building incorporates elements of the former Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, of which the Norman carved stone door surround is thought to be part, as is the 12th century stilted arched opening above. The building was later converted to almshouses and then used as a court house and a school, and was finally converted to a terrace of 3 houses.
