Description

Wilsford Manor, or Wilsford House as it is currently known, was built by the architect Detmar Blow in 1904-6 for Sir Edward Tennant. A note on the card support for this photograph reads 'Lady Tennant', which hints that the image was taken for the owners. The house is built in the local seventeenth century style and had diaperwork on the facades, a common element to houses in the area.
