Description

The painting shows the house after the classical remodelling of 1843 and before the fire of 1926 in which the upper storey was lost.

Archival History

The reverse of the print features a typed label: M W Callow, Stanbury, Narre Warren North 3804, Victoria, Austrailia and the handwritten note "via Christies".
