Description

The church was begun between circa 1270 and 1275, with the choir (often referred to as the chancel) completed between 1320 and 1340. The Chapter House was begun between 1340 and 1349.

Archival History

A stamp on the print and mount notes that this print was formerly held in the collection of the Royal Institute of British Architects and was accessioned to their collection in 1936.
