Description

The Minster Church of St John at Beverley was originally founded during the eighth century, but the present structure is largely medieval, dating to the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. C C Hodges is noted as the photographer, which may or may not refer to Charles Clement Hodges, late-Victorian antiquary and author.

Archival History

The reverse of the print shows a NBR accession stamp, indicating that the print was originally held in their collection and was accessioned on the 31st of January 1944.
