Thatched cottages at a crossroads on the Fosse Way in Warwickshire, likely to be near Princethorpe
- Date:
- 1870 - 1910
- Location:
- Rugby, Warwickshire
- Reference:
- OP09902
- Type:
- Photograph (Print)
On the reverse of the print there is a hand-written description: 'Foss Way crossing, Leamington, W. Huntingham (meaning Hunningham) & Rugby. Looking south. Foss Way right, Rugby to left'. There are several 'crossings' of the Fosse Way to the north of Hunningham, but research suggests this could an early image taken at Princethorpe showing the junction of the Fosse Way (B4455) between Hunningham and Rugby, and Leamington Road (B4453) to Leamington Spa.
