Description

The church was begun in 1854-6 with the tower and spire added in 1872. The tower is said to have been weakened by bomb damage during the Coventry air-raids of 1940 and the bells were never rung again for fear of the tower collapsing. The church was eventually demolished in 1967 and a modern church now stands on the site.
