Description

The Beauchamp Chapel was built between 1442-1463 to hold the tomb of Richard Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick, who died in 1439. It is a fine example of the Perpendicular Gothic architectural style.

Archival History

Previously held in the collection of the National Buildings Record, London, and accessioned on the 19th of October 1951.
