Description

This collotype print was created by James Valentine and Sons Limited and is likely to have been a copy made from an original photograph by the company. The creation date range of this print has been estimated from other surviving reproductions by Valentine of similar artist's impressions. Kenilworth Castle dates from the twelfth century, and Leicester's Building was completed in the sixteenth century. Queen Elizabeth I visited Kenilworth three times in the sixteenth-century.
