Description

The hospital was originally built by the Guild of St George in the fifteenth century, and was taken by Robert Dudley, Lord Leicester, in 1571 and converted into a pensioners' hospital. This image can be attributed to the photographer Francis Bedford.

Transferred from the library of the RIBA in 1936.
