Description

The castle and keep date from the twelfth century, with Leicester's Building was completed in the sixteenth century. It was constructed by Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, as a three-storey high-status accommodation block for visitors to the castle.

Prints OP10088–OP10111 and OP10115–OP10119 appear to have once formed part of an album as they are mounted on similarly-presented card pages.
