Description

The hospital was originally built by the Guild of St George in the fifteenth century, and was taken by Robert Dudley, Lord Leicester, in 1571 and converted into a pensioners' hospital.

Prints OP10088–OP10111 and OP10115–OP10119 appear to have once formed part of an album as they are mounted on similarly-presented card pages.
