Description

The Cathedral was previously known as the Parish Church of St Michael, and was the largest parish church in England. In 1918 the diocese was revised and the church was given cathedral status. The cathedral was largely destroyed during the Coventry blitz of 1940.

Archival History

This photograph is attached to a mount holding photographs from the Warwickshire Early Photograph Print Collection boxes, and so is stored in the Warwickshire boxes and has an archive object number from the Warwickshire county number series.
