Description

The present church consists of a nave, transepts and tower rebuilt by Sir William Wilson in 1697-1704 after the great fire of 1694. There is however a Norman crypt surviving and the Beauchamp Chapel (Lady Chapel), built 1442 - 1463 to contain the tomb of Richard Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick. Prints OP10088–OP10111 and OP10115–OP10119 appear to have once formed part of an album as they are mounted on similarly-presented card pages.
