Description

Gilead House was home to Dr Solomon who created the "Balm of Gilead" tonic. The house was constructed c1806 and demolished in 1846.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
