The coat of arms of Henry, Prince of Wales (1594-1612), which are above the official pew of the Lord President of the Council of the North. St. Olave's Church was the Lord President's parish church from c.1586.

Description

Henry Frederick, Prince of Wales was the eldest son of James I and VI and Anne of Denmark. He predeceased his father aged 18 when he died of typhoid fever, and his younger brother ascended the throne as Charles I.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
