Description

The photograph shows the tablet before 1900. The 'Survey of London: vol 8: Shoreditch' records that the buildings shown were demolished and the tablet re-erected on a new building with an inscription dated 31st May 1900.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
