Description

It seems likely that these almshouses were the row to the south of Page's Lane, known as Uzielli Cottages, which were demolished and replaced by Whitehall Lodge in 1937. The handwritten caption is unclear, but may indicate the architect to be James Edmeston (1791-1867). This print was transferred from the library of the R.I.B.A. (Royal Institute of British Architects) in 1936.
