Date accessioned: 1958. The building shown in this print has a poster for the London Palladium show 'Sky High', starring George Robey. This show ran for 309 performances in 1925. The Chiswick Empire theatre is just to the right of these shops - its 'Upper Circle' porch can just be seen.
This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
