Description

A note on the reverse of print states that the house was 'pulled down 1896', probably to permit the widening of the western end of Elthorne Road. During the mid 19th century the house was owned by sculptor and inventor, Robert William Sievier, who was responsible for the bas-reliefs visible on the front of the house.
