Description

This building was destroyed by bombing during World War II - Roper's Gardens is now on the site. A 19th century sketch of the name tablet made by Joseph Pennell is held by the Department of Prints and Drawings at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
