Description

This cutting, from an unidentified magazine, is stamped 'W.H.G.' (Walter Hindes Godfrey, first director of the National Buildings Record). The original watercolour is 'Lent' by Thomas Girtin.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
