Description

This cutting is from Country Life magazine dated 25th January 1913, p.144. The text comprises a letter to the editor from 'C.G.', relating to eighteenth century wood sculpture. The cutting is stamped 'W H G' (Walter Hindes Godfrey, first director of the National Buildings Record).

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
