Description

The card mount to which the print is affixed has been titled 'Stepney Square', which may indicate that the pictured gate and buildings were located on one of the squares in Stepney, most likely Wellclose Square or Swedenborg Square, both demolished in the late 1960s. Photographed by the London Survey Committee.
