Description

The inscription states that it was necessary to remove the remains due to scheduled maintenance works carried out by HM Office of Works in 1876-7. It is unclear whether the remains were reinterred in the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula or in another location at the Tower of London.

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-1 Red Box Project.
