Description

The drawings shown here are not the institute as built in 1869. Original plans for the building were prepared by G B Nichols of Wolverhampton but were modified by Robert Egar and J. Lockwood Kipling.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.

The archive was transferred from the Library of the R.I.B.A. in 1936.
