Description

The church dates from the thirteenth century with additions throughout the medieval period and restorations in the mid and late nineteenth century. The reverse of the card mount is stamped 'Not to be reproduced without permission' and 'From the collection of G Granville Buckley', although this copyright has now expired.

Archival History

Previously held in the collections of George Granville Buckley and the Courtauld Institute. Courtauld Institute number B.2208. This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
