Description

The well head dates to the fifteenth or sixteenth centuries, with the iron arch and pulley dating to circa 1900. The photograph was taken by the garden historian W J Day.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-12 Red Box Project.
